Domagoj Vida has talked up a potential move to the Premier League amid speculation that Arsenal and Liverpool are interested in the Besiktas defender.
The 29-year-old only joined Besiktas in January but a string of impressive performances at the 2018 World Cup for Croatia have seen him linked with a big-money move this summer.
Reports suggest Liverpool have already lodged a bid for Vida and Arsenal are also understood to be weighing up an offer for the experienced centre-back before the transfer window closes.
Asked about the rumours, Vida told Haber 1903: ‘I am always dreaming to play in the Premier League. ‘I do not know if the proposals will come again in this period. I would like [Besiktas] to make it easy for me.’
Besiktas president Fikret Orman hinted that it may be beneficial to let Vida leave this summer. ‘A player who wants to leave brings no benefits to the club,’ Orman said. ‘You must look at the interests of the club.’
It’s believed Besiktas are demanding a fee of around £25million for the Croatia international.
