What happened when Mo Salah faced Sergio Ramos in 2016 is a big warning

Liverpool and Mohamed Salah will go up against Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Kiev on May 26.

Zinedine Zidane’s side won the competition in 2016 and 2017 – and are the favourites with the bookies to achieve success once again.

However, Madrid’s defence will have a major task to restrain Liverpool’s frightening front three of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Salah.

The 25-year-old Egyptian winger – who has already netted 43 goals this season – is a serious contender for the 2018 Ballon d’Or.

Salah joined Liverpool from Roma last summer and recently won the PFA Player of the Year award ahead of Kevin De Bruyne.

“We have seen what Salah can do this season, but he will just be one of 11 players we face against Liverpool,” Sergio Ramos told the Daily Mirror. “Throughout my career, I have faced the best forward players in the world – many of them who are considered among the greatest ever.

“For me, there is never a fear. A respect, yes, but never a fear.”

The Real Madrid captain came up against Salah’s Roma in the last 16 of the 2015/16 Champions League campaign.

A video being shared on social media featuring Salah’s battle with Ramos has proved very popular with Madridistas.
