WATCH: Salah is lucky he didn’t get caught after what he did to Martins-Indi vs Stoke

Anfield has been home to a lot of exciting Premier League football in 2017/18.

However, Liverpool’s 0-0 draw with Stoke on Saturday will go down as one of the dullest fixtures of the season, with Jurgen Klopp’s side handing serious hope to Chelsea in the race for the top four.

Liverpool appeared to have a European hangover as they struggled to show the same level of attacking quality they did in that amazing 5-2 win over Roma.

Mohamed Salah failed to score in a home game for the first time since Boxing Day, while the likes of Danny Ings and Joe Gomez endured torrid afternoons.

Sadio Mane and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain were sorely missed, with Roberto Firmino the only player showing any sign of quality throughout the game.

It will certainly go down as one of Salah’s poorest games of the season, with the in-form Egyptian marshalled brilliantly by Stoke left-back Erik Pieters.

Aside from a glorious chance in the opening minutes, Salah didn’t threaten Jack Butland’s goal.

And it appears his frustration got the better of him, with a strange incident involving Bruno Martins-Indi surfacing on Twitter.

The footage appears to show Salah taking a frustrated swipe at the defender, with the Dutchman just about moving out the way in time.
