Video: Liverpool’s 10 best Premier League goals against Man United at Old Trafford

Liverpool have scored a host of great goals against Manchester United at Old Trafford over the years, and will hope to add more on Sunday.

The Reds have played United at their current home ground on 82 occasions, and though they have won just 17 of those, some of their most memorable victories have come there.

Jurgen Klopp will lead his side to Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon in the effort to add their 18th triumph at the stadium, calling upon a Reds squad packed with attacking talent.

If the likes of Philippe Coutinho, Adam Lallana and Roberto Firmino can perform, they can look to make some more memories in Manchester.

To mark Liverpool’s latest trip across the M62, the club have released a package of the Reds’ 10 best goals against United at Old Trafford, including some truly excellent strikes.

Danny Murphy, a scourge of United at the beginning of the century, came in at No. 10, for his free-kick towards the end of 2000.

A more recent hero of the Reds’ rival clashes, Luis Suarez, follows him up, for his opportunistic finish past David de Gea fourteen years later.

One of Suarez’s attacking predecessors, Robbie Fowler, takes No. 8, while Christian Benteke‘s remarkable overhead kick in last season’s 3-1 defeat comes just after.

Ian Rush makes the list at No. 6, along with another effort from Fowler for No. 5, while Fabio Aurelio’s sensational free-kick in 2009’s 4-1 win at Old Trafford comes in at No. 4.

Murphy gets his name on the list again, along with Patrick Berger for his incredible long-range drive in 2000, but the top spot goes to ex-Reds No. 9, Fernando Torres.

The Reds have not won away to United since 2014, but with three points at Old Trafford vital to keeping up their Premier League title hopes, they will be desperate to change this on Sunday.
