STEVEN GERRARD reckons Liverpool will make “four or five” signings in the summer.
Liverpool did not sign a single player during the January transfer window, despite being without star forward Sadio Mane for much of the month.
But Gerrard expects his old club to be much busier in the summer, tipping Jurgen Klopp to bring in several new faces.
“I think come the summer you’ll see four or five additions,” he told BT Sport.
Gerrard was speaking after the Reds were held to a 1-1 draw by Chelsea at Anfield last night.
The Blues took the lead midway through the first-half as David Luiz caught Simon Mignolet off guard with a superb free-kick.
Georginio Wijnaldum headed the home side level shortly after the break before Diego Costa had a penalty saved 14 minutes from the time.
The result means Klopp’s men stay fourth in the table, still ten points adrift of Chelsea.
