Serie A giants moved in to hijack Liverpool’s move for No.9 Bundesliga midfielder

Fiorentina have reportedly entered the race to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Emre Mor this summer.

The 20-year-old has been linked with the likes of Liverpool, Southampton and Celta Vigo during the current transfer window following a difficult first season at the Westfalenstadion.

Mor made just five Bundesliga starts for Dortmund last term and is understood to be considering his options in order to maximise his chance of more regular first-team football.

A loan switch to the Premier League had been mooted, but Dortmund are reportedly only interested in a permanent move for the Turkey international.

Reports in Italy suggest that Fiorentina have now lodged a £10.7m bid for his services in the hope of prising him away from the Bundesliga outfit.

Fiorentina are on the lookout for a new winger to replace Nikola Kalinic, who is thought to be on the verge of joining Serie A rivals AC Milan.
