Liverpool look as if they will challenge on multiple fronts again this season.
Jurgen Klopp’s men have started the Premier League season off perfectly, winning all of their opening four games.
Going into the international break they are currently top of the table on goal difference.
Despite being handed a tough Champions League draw, with Napoli and PSG also in Group C, they are also favourites to progress into the knockout stages of that competition.
One of the main reasons for Liverpool’s success in the past year or so has been their attack: in particular the influence of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
The two players suit Liverpool’s style perfectly, with their pace in attack suiting the fast and direct tactics that Jurgen Klopp likes to play.
But who exactly is the fastest?
Philippe Coutinho revealed his belief that Salah was the fastest player at the club prior to his move to Barcelona.
But what do Mane and Salah think themselves?
The two men were asked the question in a video with Liverpoolfc.com, and now the truth has come to light.
Writing with a smile on his face, Salah revealed his choice first and surprisingly he felt as if Mane was faster.
The Senegalese then revealed his answer, agreeing with Salah that he was indeed the faster player.
“Sorry Mo but I think I win that,” the Senegalese international said as he argued his case.
“I said Sadio!” Salah replied, before Mane replied: “I have to say Sadio as well. Because I think I will win more.”
You can watch their answer below at 6:50. Although we recommend you watch the whole video if you have the time, because it is brilliant!
So there you have it. Salah and Mane both feel as if the former Southampton man is the faster of the two.
That surely puts an end to that debate.
