MOHAMED SALAH has been an instant hit at Liverpool since his summer move from Roma… But Sadio Mane believes his team-mate can still improve.
Salah has proven to be one of the steals of the summer despite costing Liverpool a club record fee.
The Egyptian slotted seamlessly into Liverpool’s front three alongside Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane but has been the standout performer with 12 goals in 17 games, seven coming in the Premier League.
There was some trepidation surrounding his move after a his previous stint in the Premier League proved unsuccessful at Chelsea.
But he has proved his doubters wrong and is now an integral part of Jurgen Klopp’s plans.
And Mane has been hugely impressed by Salah’s instant impact at Anfield, although he believes there is still more to come from the 25-year-old.
“Mo is a great lad and an incredible player,” Mane told Goal.
“It is good that he has settled in so easily and there is so much more still to come from him.
“We get on well and I enjoy playing with him, but that’s the same with everyone. We have a very exciting team and we all want to help the club be successful.”
