urgen Klopp’s side registered a comfortable 3-0 win over Burnley at Turf Moor.
The Reds went 1-0 up when Trent Alexander-Arnold’s cross deflected into the Burnley net off Chris Wood. Further goals, either side of half-time, from Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino helped to seal all three points.
However, it wasn’t an entirely perfect afternoon for the reigning European champions.
Mane’s furious reaction shortly after being substituted in the 85th minute meant the game ended on a slightly sour note for Liverpool.
Mane was visibly angry after walking to the dugout, where his teammates tried to calm him down.
The Senegalese forward is usually ice cool, so it was strange to see him so worked up.
It wasn’t Klopp’s decision to substitute him that angered him so much; it was due to an incident moments earlier involving Mohamed Salah.
The Egyptian forward failed to pass the ball to Mane, who was wide open and almost certainly would have doubled his tally for the evening.
Instead, Salah tried to fashion a goalscoring opportunity for himself but ended up losing possession.
Mane applauded the Liverpool fans after the game but there appeared to be no hug or handshake between him and Salah.
And there was a funny moment in the tunnel, where Firmino gave a priceless look to the camera while stood in between Mane and Salah on their way back to the away dressing room.

Absolutely brilliant from Firmino.
The image of his face here is bound to become a meme.
