Newcastle United are looking to sign two new strikers this summer.
According to a report in the Chronicle, Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has been offered to Newcastle United.
Sturridge’s future at Liverpool has come into doubt over recent weeks, with the England international struggling for game time over the past season.
Sturridge’s injury problems have held him back at Anfield, and Jurgen Klopp has regularly overlooked him this past term.
Sturridge was given a run of games for Liverpool towards the end of the season, but it is still thought that he could exit.
And Rafael Benitez’s side have reportedly been offered the chance to bring him to St. James’ Park.
Newcastle are set to seal a deal for Tammy Abraham on loan, but still want another addition up-front.
And Sturridge is believed to be an option for the Magpies.
Sturridge scored seven goals in 27 appearances for Liverpool over the past season.
