PHILIPPE COUTINHO wants Liverpool star Mohamed Salah at Barcelona.
The Egypt international has been in sensational form following his move from Roma to Anfield last summer.
Salah, 25, has netted a remarkable 35 goals in all competitions under Jurgen Klopp this time out. The Reds star man has been linked with a move away from Anfield in recent months, despite only joining Liverpool last summer.
Real Madrid are said to be tracking the winger, with club president Florentino Perez desperate to land a Galactico at the end of the season.
However, according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, who often make sensational transfer claims, ex-Liverpool star Coutinho wants Salah at Barcelona.
They say Coutinho, who left Anfield in January to complete his dream move to the Nou Camp, has told Barca transfer chiefs to sign Salah this summer.
Don Balon also say the Brazil international wants Salah to join Barca over Atletico Madrid talisman Antoine Griezmann.
Coutinho’s Barca team-mate Luis Suarez reportedly agrees with the playmaker, with the striker backing a bumper bid for Salah.
Salah and Liverpool are back in action next weekend when the Reds travel to Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday (12:30pm kick-off).
