The last few days of the transfer window are upon us and whilst the Reds have not been active in terms of signing players this month, the offers for outgoing players are coming in.
It has indeed been a disappointing window for the Reds with many of us expecting better news than what’s happened over the last few weeks but one situation does look set to be resolved soon.
That’s because, according to French outlet Le 10 Sport, Spartak Moscow and Southampton have lodged bids for our estranged defender Mamadou Sakho.
The French defender has been missing for the whole of this season with him residing in the U23 squad after ill-discipline on our pre-season tour of the United States.
He’s now likely going to leave in what’s only looks to be a matter of time and the last decision he needs to make is where he wants to end up.
