Naby Keita is beginning to show Liverpool fans why the club splashed £55m to sign him from RB Leipzig.
After an incredibly tepid start to his career on Merseyside, the Guinean midfielder has shown his true ability in Liverpool’s last three games.
In the crucial 3-1 win away at Southampton, Keita scored the all important equaliser.
And a few days later he scored again versus Porto in the Champions League.
Not bad and Keita was excellent once again when Chelsea visited Anfield yesterday.
He was handed a start in midfield next to Fabinho and Jordan Henderson, with many Liverpool fans now believing that the trio are the club’s best available midfield right now.
The likes of Jorginho and N’Golo Kante struggled to match Keita, who appeared to cover every blade of grass.
And there was one moment in the second-half from the Guinean that really got Liverpool fans talking.
With the score at 2-0, the game then entered a rather chaotic phase in which Eden Hazard missed two glorious opportunities to reduce the deficit.
Everything seemed to be moving at light speed, so Keita took it upon himself to calm down the play.
When the ball was played out to him, the 24-year-old stopped it dead in open play, gestured to his teammates to calm down and the proceeded to showboat around Kante.

It’s the little things in matches that can make a world of difference, especially when the margins are as thin as they are in the Premier League title race.
Liverpool now have the task of travelling to Portugal in the week to seal qualification for the semi-final of the Champions League, before a trip to Cardiff on the weekend.
