It was against Chelsea in 2014 where Steven Gerrard’s slip gifted Demba Ba a goal and consequently put an end to Liverpool’s title hopes.
After Manchester City won earlier on in the day, Liverpool were under extra pressure to get all three points and move back above their rivals.
And they were able to put in a confident performance at Anfield as they won 2-0.
Sadio Mane opened the scoring early on in the second half after wonderful play from Jordan Henderson.
And then Mohamed Salah struck one of the best goals of the season as he lashed in a long-range effort into the top corner.
Salah picked up the ball on the right, cut inside his man and powered an effort from 25 yards past Kepa Arrizabalaga.
It really was a stunning goal. And it was an important one, too.
Every goal is heavily important for Liverpool at the moment and it sealed all three point on the day.
There is a trend at the moment where Titanic music is edited to go with important goals and, of course, it has been done once again for Salah’s goal.
