Liverpool and Manchester United are keeping close tabs on Bury youngsters Jacob Bedeau and Callum Styles, according to reports.
The teenage duo have attracted interest from a number of top Premier League sides in recent weeks following their breakthrough at Gigg Lane.
ESPN FC suggest United and Liverpool scouts were in attendance as Bury lost 3-1 at home to Sheffield United on Monday evening.
Bedeau, 17, has impressed at centre-back for Bury this season, while Styles has shone in midfield for the League One outfit.
Styles became the first ever player born in the 21st century to feature in the Football League when he came on as a substitute against Southend earlier this year.
The highly-rated 16-year-old is also able to operate as a forward.
It’s understood representatives from Manchester City and Everton were also in the stands at Gigg Lane on Monday night.
However, the League One club are unlikely to give either of the players up without a fight.
