Liverpool appear no closer to signing Naby Keita but the midfielder has dropped a huge transfer hint on Instagram which suggests he would welcome a move to Anfield.
The RB Leipzig midfielder is one of Jurgen Klopp’s priority targets and reports claim that Liverpool are prepared to spend £50 million in order to sign the 22-year-old.
But the Bundesliga club are understood to be holding out for a £70m transfer fee, although publicly, they have insisted that the player is not for sale.
Keita has admitted that he eventually wants to move to a bigger club, and has even named Manchester City as a potential destination.
But on Instagram, Keita fuelled speculation surrounding a move to Liverpool by ‘liking’ a collage which included a photoshopped picture of himself in the club’s new home shirt.
