Lucas Leiva is looking increasingly likely to leave Anfield in the summer, but where he’ll go is the big question.
Turkish football website Fotomac is claiming Besiktas and Serie A clubs are leading the way.
But his wages may be the sticking point, with the Brazilian wanting £4.2m a season.
After 10 seasons at Liverpool, Lucas is set to leave on a free transfer.
Besiktas are understood to be at the front of the queue, according to the Daily Express, who report the midfielder wants to command a wage of £4.2million.
That could be out of the Turkish giants price range, however, and a compromise would have to be found if the deal is to go through.
Lucas is seen by Besiktas as a potential replacement for Canada international Atiba Hutchinson.
Should a move to Turkey fail to materialise, Lucas is reportedly keen to favour a switch to Gremio in his homeland of Brazil.
