Liverpool “to go all out” for Klopp’s 25-year-old No.1 target in the summer

LIVERPOOL have been told to go all out in their bid to sign Roma goalkeeper Alisson this summer.

The Brazilian has been in wonderful form for the Italian side as they bid to win their first Champions League title.

They shocked the footballing world after knocking Barcelona by coming back from 4-1 down.

Roma secured a 3-0 win at home to knock out the Catalan club on away goals. And the Reds are reportedly in the market for a new keeper in the summer, with the Roma man top of their list.

Loris Karius has impressed for the Merseyside club in recent months, but Simon Mignolet is expected to leave.

As well as Liverpool, Real Madrid are also linked with the 25-year-old. But former Sunderland keeper David Preece reckons that the Anfield outfit will do everything they can to secure him.

“If Liverpool have any aspirations of winning anything, Alisson is the type of goalkeeper they need to get,” Preece told Irish podcast Second Captains.

“If the chance was there to get Alisson, I know for a fact Liverpool will be going all out in the summer to get him.”

Liverpool face Roma in the Champions League in their semi-final clash next week.

The winner will face either Real or Bayern Munich in the final in Kiev.
