Liverpool set to sign record-breaking Nike kit deal – here’s how it could look

They’re one of the most exciting teams in Europe, with a world-class manager in Jurgen Klopp and stars throughout the squad including Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Virgil van Dijk.

Subsequently, it came as no surprise recently to hear that Nike are interested in becoming the Reds’ new kit manufacturer.

Liverpool are currently inside the final year of their kit deal with New Balance, who have produced their kids since 2015 after taking over from Warrior.

It was claimed back in June that Liverpool were close to reaching an agreement with Nike over a new kit deal but these rumours were premature.

The Liverpool Echo said the Reds were open to offers from all interested parties.

Their current deal with New Balance is worth around £45 million a season.

But this figure pales in comparison to the £750 million deal that Manchester United struck with Adidas in 2014.

However, Forbes are now reporting that Liverpool ‘are on the verge of signing a new kit deal with Nike that would begin with the 2020-21 season and could be the richest in the Premier League’.

Exciting stuff for Liverpool.

The most lucrative kit deal in the Premier League will only help the Merseyside outfit improve further over the coming seasons.

But how would a Liverpool kit produced by Nike look?

Well, some concept designs have already been published on social media. Let’s check them out.
