Liverpool set to give a new deal to prolific striker amid interest from top European clubs

Liverpool are reportedly set to offer England Under-17 hero Rhian Brewster a new deal when he turns 18.

Brewster’s hat-trick in the World Cup semi-final against Brazil alerted a number of top clubs who will move to secure his signature, report the Daily Mail.

The Reds’ policy is not to let youngsters sign professional deals until they turn 18, as was the case for Ben Woodburn, who this week penned a new deal 10 days after celebrating his birthday.

Liverpool signed Brewster from Chelsea following the advice of their then U23 coach Michael Beale. manager Jürgen Klopp called him up to the senior side for club friendlies in October and November 2016, with Brewster scoring a hat-trick against Accrington Stanley in the latter match.

He will again lead the line for England’s young guns when they take on Spain in Saturday’s final.
