Liverpool rejected chance of signing £45m-rated Brazilian attacker

LIVERPOOL and Chelsea have reportedly turned down the opportunity to sign Corinthians star Pedrinho.

Agent Kia Joorabchian was attempting to land the 20-year-old a big move to a Europe club this summer and back in January.

He contacted Ajax, Chelsea, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain but none of the clubs decided to take the plunge. Liverpool already have a strong Brazilian contingent at the club.

Alisson, Fabinho and Roberto Firmino are all represent their nation and Philippe Coutinho departed for Barcelona nine months ago. But Reds seemingly aren’t ready to make a move for Corinthians starlet Pedrinho.

UOL Esporte report that Liverpool twice rejected the chance to sign him this year. But they claim a future move to Anfield could be on the cards for the youngster who can play as a No.10 or on the wing.
