It appears as if Liverpool are firm on their stance that Mamadou Sakho can only leave on a permanent basis.
Sakho has been frozen out of the Liverpool first-team for more than a year after a falling out with Jurgen Klopp on their pre-season tour last summer.
The France international joined Crystal Palace on loan back in January and played a starring role for the Eagles as they successfully avoided relegation.
Crystal Palace wanted to take the former PSG defender on a second loan spell but the offer was rejected, says Matteo Pedrosi.

Pedrosi adds that Serie A side Inter Milan are interested in Sakho and tried to take him on loan as well but Liverpool again rejected the offer and will only let him leave for €30m (£27.7m).
Liverpool are struggling to find a taker at that price and with a week to go of the transfer window, they may have to either compromise on that asking price or consider loan bids with purchase options included.
