Liverpool make firm offer for Real Madrid attacker [Cadena SER]

The Real Deal?

Liverpool have made an offer for Real Madrid forward Mariano Díaz Mejía as they look to add young and talented players to their ranks.

Both the Merseysiders and Spanish outfit Alaves have made offers for the player.

Even with offers away from the capital, Mariano is said to have indicated to Madrid that he wants to stay at the club according to Cadena SER.

The forward scored on his one and only international cap for the Dominican Republic.

Cadena SER: Mariano has conveyed to Real Madrid again that he doesn’t want to leave the club even though there are offers from Alaves & LFC.

Madrid to go clear at the top

Real Madrid can go four points clear at the top of La Liga this evening, should they beat Real Sociedad at the Bernabeu.

Rivals Barcelona and Sevilla both dropped points today, the Nou Camp club unable to beat Real Betis while Sevilla were beaten 3-1 by Espanyol.

Los Blancos also have another game in hand, meaning Madrid could go an extraordinary seven points clear at the top should they win both games.

If so, it would be difficult for Barcelona or Sevilla to recover.
