Liverpool linked with last-minute move for 23-year-old versatile midfielder

Liverpool are eyeing up a move for Besiktas star Dorukhan Tokoz this week, according to TRT Spor journalist Firat Gunayer, via Sport Witness.

The end of the summer transfer window is edging closer, with Thursday evening the cutoff for Premier League clubs.

Goalkeeper Adrian looks set to arrive from West Ham imminently and there are rumours that Tokoz could also be heading to Merseyside.

Liverpool are not the only English side linked with the 23-year-old midfielder, although the teams in question aren’t specified.

Watford were rumoured to be interested earlier in the summer, but it is not known if they are one of those mentioned.

Besiktas could be willing to sell if a significant offer comes their way, as they look to generate more transfer funds of their own.

Tokoz shone for the Turkish giants last season, also making his debut for Turkey in their Euro 2020 qualifier against Albania in March
