Steven Gerrard has been offered the chance to join former Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini in China before hanging up his boots, reports say.
The Liverpool legend is believed to have been offered a job with MK Dons but he is considering playing on.
And Pellegrini’s club Hebei Fortune are willing to pay him a small fortune in order to end his career in the Far East, according to The Sun.
It’s expected that the 36-year-old will be offered in excess of £200,000-a-week to ply his trade in China.
Pellegrini is believed to be a big fan of Gerrard from their time facing each other in the Premier League.
And Gerrard wants to have one last chance at playing before finishing up.
The midfielder enjoys legendary status at Anfield and won the Champions League in famous circumstances in 2005.
