Liverpool leaving Melwood for massive £50 million Kirkby switch

The makeover continues! Klopp wants Liverpool to make a £50 million upgrade to Kirkby academy.

Klopp emphasized the importance of having the first team and the rest of the Liverpool academy train at the same grounds, as he once did at BVB.

One stadium, one training ground, one team, one football family! The message Klopp has preached forever and day. Agree with this way of life, as rewards are evident since the arrival of Klopp.

He now has the backing from LFC owners, FSG, to go ahead and put this idea into action. When Klopp mentioned Liverpool and the backroom staff were busy, he really meant it!

The club’s staff have been working hard behind closed doors and more and more good news follows each day.

Liverpool Echo reports the club are set to leave Melwood in exchange for a MASSIVE expansion at Kirkby academy, training grounds.

Stadium Expansions coupled with dressing rooms upgraded to the players standard. Now news of an advanced, leading edge training ground. Klopp knows exactly what he’s doing with the funds available to him.

For the project to begin, Liverpool will have to buy aches of land surrounding the Simonswood Playing fields.

Just the thought of this happening and the sight of the plan at hand, makes me extremely excited for the project to get going.

The Red’s are in desperate need of the switch and the upgrade. Living in the shadows of our counterparts, should be a thing of the past.

Change is always good, imagine the caliber of players you attract to your club with such improvements. In return, what type of young players would you be breeding out your youth system?

Training together with the first team, is nothing short of genius and only beneficial to the club’s future.
