LIVERPOOL appear to be in the hunt for Arsenal ace Jack Wilshere.
The Gunners midfielder is out of contract in the summer.
And Starsport have been told by bookies Paddy Power that there’s been a flurry of bets on the England international swapping north London for Merseyside.
The odds on him being snapped up by Jurgen Klopp have now halved and are 7/2 after punters lumped on the 26-year-old.
Paddy Power spokesperson Amy Jones said: “Could Jurgen Klopp be plotting another Emirates raid?
“He’s already had Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and now he’s sniffing around Jack Wilshere.
“He’s out of contract in the summer – so Liverpool could be set to bag a bargain. Either that or another flop.”
Wilshere has impressed for Arsenal since establishing himself back in the first-team.
The injury-ravaged ace spent last season on loan at Bournemouth before breaking his foot.
But he’s battled back from his fitness woes and has looked the part in Arsenal’s engine room.
Arsene Wenger has had a mini exodus in recent months though.
Oxlade-Chamberlain opted to move to Anfield and Alexis Sanchez was transferred to Manchester United having repeatedly snubbed a new deal.
Meanwhile Oliver Giroud and Theo Walcott have both joined Chelsea and Everton respectively.
Wilshere has played 181 games for Arsenal and made his Premier League debut in 2008.
