Porto will be without their starting midfielder Danilo for the Champions League ties with Liverpool, the Echo report.
The battler done his ankle last night in the Portuguese Cup and will be out for at least a month.
Danilo is an automatic starter for our European opponents, who’ll be significantly weaker without the 26-year-old’s presence.
Still, we can’t think about the Champions League tie just yet. Before we go to Porto for the away leg, we’ve got West Brom in the FA Cup and Huddersfield, Spurs and Southampton in the Premier League.
Following the defeat to Swansea, we need positive results in at least three of these, and preferably all four.
We might mix the lineup a little against the Baggies, but the victory over Everton in the 3rd Round proves we’re taking the competition seriously for the first time under Klopp.
Any side selected should have enough to beat Alan Pardew’s men.
