The Reds will travel to Munich next Wednesday having drawn 0-0 with the German giants in the first leg at Anfield. Dutch star Robben missed that match but was hoping to play some part in the home leg having made progress on a lengthy injury lay-off that began in November.
But the 35-year-old suffered a calf injury in training this week and Bayern boss Nico Kovac has confirmed he will not feature in the squad to face Liverpool next week.

In better news for the German champions, Frenchman Kingsley Coman is in contention to make the squad despite suffering a thigh injury last month.
Kovac added: ‘Coman is on his way back and we’re hopeful for the Liverpool game. Arjen definitely won’t be ready for that game. We expect [Corentin] Tolisso back at the end of this month.’
Jurgen Klopp will be desperate to return to winning ways on Saturday when the Reds welcome Burnley to Anfield.
