Liverpool are reportedly monitoring Kieran Gibbs’ future at Arsenal
England defender is sweating over his Arsenal future as the club continue to hold off on contract talks.
Gibbs, who has found first team action hard to come by in the Premier League given the form of Nacho Monreal, has entered the final 18 months of his current deal and faces a decision to make over his future in the summer.
The 27-year-old’s current situation has alerted a number of clubs, the Mirror claiming Arsenal’s title rivals Liverpool could be tempted to swoop for the left-back.
With the likes of Per Mertesacker and Santi Cazorla set to be rewarded with contract extensions, Gibbs along with fellow Englishman Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, have had no contact with the club regarding new deals.
Given the uncertainty around Gibbs, Arsenal have sent their scouts on a mission to find a potential new left-sided defender.
