Football fans are starting to get World Cup fever with the first round of warm-up friendlies in full swing.
One of the tournament favourites Brazil got their campaign started with a high-profile friendly vs Croatia at Anfield.
Being a Liverpool player, Roberto Firmino was the talk of the town before the game but Reds fans also had their eyes on another Selecao star; Alisson Becker.
The Roma goalkeeper has fast become one of the best in the business, keeping Manchester City’s Ederson out of Tite’s starting XI.
Reports this week have suggested that Alisson is actually waiting for a move to Real Madrid rather than Liverpool, but there is still certainly hope for Jurgen Klopp’s men.
And his appearance between the sticks on Sunday was another chance for them to take a good look at him, with his last Anfield display not exactly going down well – he conceded five goals.
The game finished 2-0, with a stunning goal from Neymar and one from Firmino, with Alisson keeping a clean sheet and making a few tidy saves, but Liverpool fans had a few concerns.
Some finish that, but back to Alisson.
A lot of Liverpool fans were concerned by his poor distribution and the way he dealt with situations when the ball was at his feet.
LIVERPOOL FANS REACT
Alisson just booted the ball out of play. His value has now halved.

Alisson screwing around with both long and short passes and maybe it's Anfield that does it to goalkeepers

Alisson's passing today has been awful. Don't tell me Job Achterburghas already got to him by just being in Liverpool

Scenes when Alisson finds and exposes the secret kryptonite buried under the goal line by double agent John Achterberg. He's already suspiciously missing his passing so far here at Anfield for Brazil

Seems Alisson’s Anfield audition – if you want to call it that – didn’t go too well.
Of course, it was only a friendly match, with his performances for Roma this season more than justifying why he is such a sought-after commodity.
Nevertheless, the fee Liverpool would have to fork out to bring in the South American star would be pretty astronomical and they would have to take all the negatives into account.
