Liverpool fans have a message for Jurgen Klopp after Roberto Firmino misses PSG training

Liverpool’s first match in the Champions League this season is sure to be a cracker.

Paris Saint-Germain are the visitors to Anfield on Tuesday as two of Europe’s most exciting sides go head-to-head.

The talent on show will be sheer class, particularly in attack.

On the one side, you have Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane. On the other, it’s Neymar and Kylian Mbappe who will be causing havoc.

It’s unclear yet whether Roberto Firmino will be fit to play after he suffered an eye injury in Liverpool’s win over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

Even Jurgen Klopp doesn’t yet know whether the Brazilian, who suffered an abrasion but no lasting damage to his left eye, will be available.

“I can’t say if he will be available for tomorrow,” the Liverpool boss said. “We all saw the picture and we were massively worried.”

Firmino’s wife shared a photo of the striker wearing sunglasses on Instagram.

Firmino missed Liverpool’s training session on Monday, which doesn’t bode well.

In the event that the 26-year-old isn’t fit to play, Liverpool supporters have made it clear on Twitter who Klopp should turn to.

Daniel Sturridge would be a like-for-like replacement but fans would prefer to see summer signing Xherdan Shaqiri come in, with Salah shifting to a central position.
