Real Madrid started their season off with a loss as they were defeated 4-2 by Atletico Madrid in the Super Cup.
Diego Costa opened the scoring after just 52 seconds, before Karim Benzema levelled proceedings in the 27th minute.
Sergio Ramos then converted from the penalty spot, only for Costa to grab his second goal of the game to take the game into extra-time.
And extra-time goals from Saul Niguez and Koke gave Atletico their first trophy of the season.
One of the most interesting battles of the game occurred between Costa and Ramos.
The two Spaniards are known for being among the most aggressive players in world football, and they showed that once again on Wednesday night.
One particular moment which highlighted that fact happened in the 64th minute, where Ramos went down under a heavy challenge from Costa.

Costa then proceeds to share a few words with Ramos while he is down injured on the floor.
Whether Costa’s challenge was intentional or not is anyone’s guess.
Ramos is perhaps the most unpopular figure in world football among Liverpool fans after he injured Mohamed Salah in the final of last season’s Champions League.
In the very same game he was accused of giving Loris Karius concussion, and has had multiple run-ins with Jurgen Klopp ever since.
His latest comments about Klopp earlier this week, where he mocked his records in finals, only angered Liverpool fans further.
So when Costa kicked Ramos in the head during the second half of Wednesday’s game, it caused a lot of reaction from Liverpool fans.
As you can imagine, few had sympathy for the Real Madrid defender.
