Leicester City beat newly-promoted Wolves 2-0 at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Matt Doherty scored an unfortunate own goal in the 29th minute, heading home a deflected Marc Albrighton cross.
Summer signing James Maddison doubled Leicester’s advantage on the stroke of half-time with a fine goal.
Wolves hit the woodwork on three occasions but the 10-man Foxes held on to secure their first victory of the season.
The biggest talking point of the game surrounded Mike Dean’s decision to dish out a red card.
It was a moment of madness from Leicester’s main man.
VARDY RED CARD
England striker Jamie Vardy was shown a straight red card for a terrible challenge on Doherty in the 66th minute.
The 31-year-old forward won the ball first but could’ve seriously injured his opponent with a dangerous tackle.

Leicester are unlikely to appeal the red card and Vardy will serve a three-game suspension.
He won’t be available to face his former club Fleetwood Town in the League Cup – and will also miss Premier League games against Southampton and Liverpool.
Vardy has an incredible goalscoring record against Liverpool, scoring seven goals in his last five outings.
Jamie Vardy will miss the game against Liverpool due to a straight red against Wolves today. Great news for Liverpool.
