Liverpool are reportedly still keeping an eye on Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
The 22-year-old has been in superb form for Simone Inzaghi’s side this season, and has been lighting up Serie A with some hugely impressive performances in the middle.
Milinkovic-Savic has already hit the net on four occasions so far with his side; a commendable total from 13 appearances in midfield.
It’s claimed by Italian news outlet TMW, as cited by talkSPORT, that the young midfielder has been monitored by the Reds for some time now, and a January move could be in the offing.
Milinkovic-Savic is an all-action midfielder, capable of playing in various central roles, and has been a valuable asset for Lazio throughout the course of the opening stages of the season so far.
Liverpool are well stocked with midfielders, though, and will have Naby Keita arriving from RB Leipzig in the summer.
Manchester City have also been scouting the Serbian.
The midfielder’s current market value sets at €37.7m according to CIES.
