Liverpool eye cut-price January deal for showboating wing wizard

Liverpool have been linked with a move for PSV ace Luciano Narsingh.

The Reds are set to lose Sadio Mane to the African Cup of Nations in January and it has been suggested that Jurgen Klopp may move to bring in cover.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Amsterdam-born winger Narsingh is a potential target for the Anfield boss.

However, the Mirror claim that West Brom are also interested in signing PSV Eindhoven wide man, who has one goal in three Champions League games this season.

The Dutchman, 26, has spent more than four years with PSV having joined the club from Heerenveen in 2012, and he’s coming off a strong season having hit nine goals and five assists for Phillip Cocu’s men.

This term, Narsingh – who has made 16 appearances for the Netherlands national team – has grabbed two goals and an assist in all competitions, and his future is looking uncertain.

Narsingh’s contract expires at the end of the season, and the pacey winger could end up following former PSV team-mates Memphis Depay and Georginio Wijnaldum to the Premier League.

Liverpool are now lining up a cut-price deal to sign Narsingh in January, in a move which would certainly add the speed that Klopp wants in the final third, and landing a player from a Champions League club may be something of a coup for the Reds.
