Liverpool midfielder Allan Rodrigues de Souza has had his loan spell at Fluminense extended until December.
The Brazilian joined the Reds back in 2015 but is yet to make a first-team appearance under Jurgen Klopp with work-permit issues persisting for the 22-year-old.
Allan joined Fluminense back in February and will now stay in his homeland for the rest of the year after agreeing to further his terms with the Brazilian outfit.
Fluminense was Allan’s sixth loan spell away from Anfield since he signed for the Reds from Internacional for £500,000 in the summer of 2015.
The creative midfielder has since turned out for SJK in Finland, Sint-Truiden, Hertha Berlin, Apollon Limassol and Eintracht Frankfurt, but not once for the Reds.
Liverpool had hoped the Eintracht loan move would have finally enabled the club to overcome the permit problems that have denied Allan the chance of playing his football in England.
He joined the Bundesliga side last summer after impressing during their pre-season training camp, but it didn’t work out for the attacker in Germany.
