Valencia claim Liverpool and Tottenham target Geoffrey Kondogbia has already agreed to join them next summer.
The 24-year-old joined the Spanish club on a season-long loan in the summer after being deemed surplus to requirements at Inter Milan.
Prior to that, the France international was linked with a move to England as both Liverpool and Spurs were tracking him.
However, the Premier League duo may well have missed the boat as Valencia can buy Kondogbia permanently next summer for £22m when his loan ends.
Valencia general director Mateu Alemany told reporters in Spain that the midfielder has already said yes to the move.
He said: “We have a right to buy at the end of the season and already have an agreement with Kondogbia should we exercise the option.”
