Jurgen Klopp allowed Mamadou Sakho to leave Liverpool in January in a loan deal that split the views of Reds fans.
The 27-year-old defender had not featured for Jurgen Klopp all season after falling out of favour at Anfield.
Klopp sent the Frenchman to relegation-battlers Crystal Palace on loan – and many Liverpool fans wish he was still on Merseyside.
The Reds were comfortably beaten by Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Monday evening, with Lucas struggling in the centre-back role.
The Brazilian, naturally a defensive midfielder, was terrorised by a revitalised Jamie Vardy as the Foxes sealed a vital 3-1 win to move outside of the drop zone.
And this is the reaction of Liverpool fans after the game:
Send sakho out on loan and play lucas centre half, liverpool that??

Loaning sakho and keeping this dickhead lucas just proves that Klopp's ego is getting the better of him which will cost us badly

As much as I love the man, I find it laughable that we're playing him CB meanwhile Sakho's putting in MOTM displays for Palace smh

I always ask myself this…why didn't Klopp sign anyone to replace Sakho??
