Liverpool are in the market to reinforce their squad and are once again linked with a few left fullbacks.
French international and Aston Villa fullback Jordan Amavi is in the limelight again and reports have suggested that the Merseysiders have constantly monitored him (via Foot Mercato).
Back in the summer, Liverpool were also interested in signing Scottish left back Andrew Robertson from Hull City (Daily Mirror) however the move did not happen.
Now, the Reds are perhaps looking to finally sign the 22-year-old fullback who can effectively play on either side of the defense and midfield.
According to a report posted by Daily Star (via The People Newspaper), Klopp has been impressed by the young defender and is planning a £10million ($12.3million) raid to agree his signing.
We tried to search more about the report but it seems like a mere rumor because no other major outlet has reported the news as yet. Nevertheless, if the report is true then Liverpool should seriously drop their interest.
This season, Robertson has featured in 13 league games and the Tigers currently sit at the bottom of the Premier League table. He has been mediocre, therefore, it is unbelievable that the German manager has been impressed.
The Merseysiders need to sign a proven quality left back to solve the dilemma once and for all and Andrew Robertson surely does not fit the bill.
