Klopp must consider signing these 2 Asian stars for Liverpool in January

Jurgen Klopp has constructed a vibrant side, one that’s being touted as a title contender within little over a year in charge of the Reds.

That being said, the January sales could provide the German with a good opportunity to strengthen should the Merseyside giants be in contention amongst the Premier League’s top order.

While the transfer market is a difficult thing to navigate, especially in the New Year, perhaps a look to the Asian market could be a good avenue to explore.

Tottenham forward Son heung-min has been in fine fettle this season, with the South Korean forward recently picking up the Player of the Month gong for his sterling outings of late.

With that in mind, here are TWO Asian players Liverpool really should consider signing in January.

KOO JA CHEOLkoo-ja-cheol

Though Klopp boasts a vast array of attacking talent at Anfield, perhaps Koo Ja Cheol could provide some more impetuous.

Plying his trade with Augsburg these days, the South Korean is a wonderfully gifted attacking midfielder, one to pick up space when Liverpool’s fluid movement breaks behind enemy lines.

YUTO NAGATOMOyuto-nagatomo

James Milner is currently proving to a revelation at left-back for the Reds, though surely isn’t the long-term option going forward.

With only Alberto Moreno currently available to back the former Manchester City man up, Yuto Nagatomo of Inter Milan may be a good option.

Able to operate at either side as a full-back, the Japanese international could well further round out the squad.
