Juventus have to pay £32m release clause to sign Jurgen Klopp

Juventus will have to pay Liverpool £32m if they are to make Jurgen Klopp their next manager, according to a report.

The 51-year-old is one of a number of names supposedly in the frame to succeed Massimiliano Allegri, who is to step down as Juve boss this summer.

Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri suggested on Sunday that Juve had already made an approach for Klopp, but he is not interested in leaving Anfield.

Tuttosport claims that, even if the German did offer an indication that he will consider replacing Allegri, the Bianconeri would have to trigger his hefty release clause.

Klopp, who still has three years to run on his existing deal, can win his first piece of silverware as Liverpool boss next month as the Reds face Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League final.
