Jurgen Klopp reportedly eyeing move for £57m-rated world-class no.9 who would make Liverpool unstoppable

Liverpool and Chelsea have been linked with Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski.

Liverpool have one of the most potent attacking units in Europe, and there is no surprise that the Reds are giving Manchester City a run for their money in the Premier League title race and have progressed to the quarter-finals of the Champions League this season.

The front three of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah strike fear into any defence’s heart, and Liverpool’s reported interest in Bayern Munich striker Lewandowski is only going to make the Anfield faithful more excited.

According to The Mirror, Chelsea are interested in signing Lewandowski from Bayern in the summer, providing their appeal against the transfer ban is successful.

It has also been reported that if the Poland international striker is made available for sale in the summer transfer window, then Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp would be interested in him.

Klopp worked with the 30-year-old at Borussia Dortmund, and there is no doubt that the striker – who has scored 125 goals in 152 games for Bayern, according to The Mirror, and is valued at €66 million (£56.86m) by the CIES Football Observatory – will make Liverpool to the next level and will make them unstoppable.
