LIVERPOOL could still make last-ditch attempt to sign Real Madrid star Isco, according to reports.
Spanish news outlet Don Balon reckon Jurgen Klopp isn’t ready to give up the hunt yet.
Liverpool have been heavily linked with the Real playmaker.
Klopp could be in the market for a new attacking midfielder this summer.
Philippe Coutinho is wanted by Barcelona.
And if the Brazilian departs, Klopp will need to source a suitable replacement.
However, a move for Isco looks increasingly unlikely – despite Klopp’s eagerness to get a deal done.
Reports earlier this week suggested Isco is ready to commit his future to the club.
The 25-year-old has a contract on the table that could see him double his salary and remain in Madrid until 2022.
It’s suggested he’ll earn around £5m-a-year (£96,000-a-week), putting him just below the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Bale, Sergio Ramos, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Karim Benzema in the salary pecking order.
