Jurgen Klopp has identified Bournemouth midfielder Lewis Cook as a replacement for Emre Can at Liverpool, according to reports.
Can’s contract expires at the end of the season and reports have claimed that the Germany international has already agreed a deal with Juventus.
According to The Sun, Liverpool have sent scouts to monitor Cook on a regular basis this season and have been impressed with the 21-year-old’s performances.
The report claims that Liverpool are now ready to launch a summer bid for Cook, believed to be in the region of £20 million.
Cook has been one of Bournemouth’s key performers this season and his performances were rewarded with a call-up to England’s senior side in November. The midfielder has just over two years left on his contract with Eddie Howe’s side.
