BARCELONA will not be appointing Jurgen Klopp or Arsene Wenger if they choose to sack Luis Enrique.
That’s the opinion of Spanish football expert Guillem Balague.
Enrique is under severe pressure after a poor run of results including a 4-0 loss to Paris St-Germain in the Champions League.
Balague told Sky Sports: “Barcelona have no interest in Klopp or Wenger.
“As far as Klopp is concerned, it is not because he isn’t good – he quite clearly is – but rather because there is no way they could ever coax him away from Liverpool.
“Wenger, meanwhile does not figure in their plans.”
Barcelona currently sit one point behind Real Madrid at the top of La Liga but their rivals have two games in hand.
Club president Josep Maria Bartomeu has backed Enrique to carry on at the Nou Camp.
He said: “In the last few years, he has won almost all competitions. The Barca supporters are very happy with him.
“The priority is still for Luis Enrique to continue.
“We will speak to Luis in April to see how he feels. There is no plan B.
“He is doing an extraordinary job and now we enter the most important stage of the season.”
