The Liverpool boss was asked about his January transfer plans with the transfer window set to re-open.
According to Daily Star, Southampton pair Virgil van Dijk and Sam McQueen are both targets for the German.
Daniel Sturridge, meanwhile, is attracting interest from West Ham although Klopp doesn’t want to let him go.
When questioned, Klopp today insisted he has no plans to sell any member of his squad.
He said: “The funny thing is that you and your colleagues create stories which are not stories.
“Then you ask me about a story which is not a story!
“What can I say about this? There’s absolutely no idea or no thought to sell any player of the first-team squad actually.
“I don’t think it would make sense to.
“But I am prepared for January, for all the things you could ask in January.
“It will be funny, I’m sure!”
