Georginho Wijnaldum’s skill vs Brighton was so good Liverpool fans gave him an ovation

Liverpool are absolutely spoilt for choice when it comes to midfielders.

Considered one of the main contenders for the Premier League title, the Reds are seriously enjoying their football this season and their midfield has played a crucial role in recent weeks.

Jurgen Klopp bolstered his ranks in the centre with the purchases of Naby Keita and Fabinho this summer, giving the Merseyside club an enviable arsenal.

Keita has already enjoyed an incredibly successful start to life at Liverpool and Fabinho promises to make an impressive impact when given his chance.

That’s not to mention the fact Jordan Henderson and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are still yet to return to contention.

LIVERPOOL VS BRIGHTON
All that said, for the time being Klopp has been choosing a midfield made up of Keita, Giorginio Wijnaldum and James Milner.

The final two names might not seem the most glamorous but both have been superb in the 4-0 win over West Ham and 2-0 victory at Crystal Palace.

LIVERPOOL FANS RAVE ABOUT HIS SKILL
Their impressive vein of form also continued in the home match versus Brighton & Hove Albion, where Wijnaldum showed a side of his game that fans don’t see very often.

In fact, the Dutchman casually decided to dribble past two Brighton players without the ball even touching the floor, displaying some superb skill.

Unsurprising, the moment was picked up by fans on Twitter and for many, it was a demonstration of Wijnaldum’s brilliant start to the season.
