GARETH BALE has told Real Madrid to sign Liverpool youngster Ben Woodburn, according to reports.
The 17-year-old has made a breakthrough at Anfield this season, making five Premier League appearances.
And Bale believes his Wales international team-mate can be a big player for Real in the future.
Spanish outlet Don Balon say Barcelona have already made their move for Woodburn and are close to signing him.
The forward scored his first goal for Liverpool in the EFL Cup clash with Leeds last November.
Bale has told Real they need to make an offer for Woodburn and beat arch-rivals Barca to his signature.
The former Tottenham man is facing a battle to be fit for the Champions League final against Juventus in Cardiff on Saturday, June 3.
Bale has suffered multiple injuries this season, making just 19 La Liga appearances.
Whether Florentino Perez takes Bale’s recommendation into account remains to be seen.
