Liverpool’s star playmaker Philippe Coutinho is out injured for at least five weeks and another star attacker in the form of Sadio Mane will leave for international duty in January.
In such a situation, the Reds are looking to reinforce their attack next month when the winter transfer window opens.
As per the latest reports going on in the media, the Merseysiders are linked with numerous strikers. Celtic’s Moussa Dembele is a wanted man and Liverpool are preparing a move (via Glasgow Live) to secure his signature.
The Les Bleus forward has scored 17 goals in 27 games for the Scottish side so far this season.
On the other hand, Daily Star cite reports in the Italian media (Corriere dello Sport) claiming that Liverpool are interested in signing Polish international and Anderlecht striker Lukasz Teodorczyk.
The former Dynamo Kyiv star has a better goal-scoring record than young Dembele as far as this season is concerned. In 23 games (21 starts), Lukasz has already scored 19 goals and provided 2 assists. He has netted 5 goals in 5 Europa League outings.
Moreover, the 25-year-old center forward is obviously more experienced than Dembele. Last but not the least, his price tag is not very high as well. As per the provided Daily Star link, he is rated around 12 million pounds.
In your opinion, should Liverpool sign Dembele or Teodorczyk?
